Last year, I was asking advice and exploring options about what do with my Romanian TTC's dangerous safety that actually was flopping around because someone who owned it before I did evidently lost the safety retaining spring. After much hemming and hawing, I decided to order the Marschal grips that they make that covers the safety hole. After a long 6 month wait, they arrived and I just installed them. I really like how they spruced up the looks of my TTC as well as they are highly functional in covering up the holes on both sides of the frame. If you own a TTC or really any other ComBloc pistol, Marschal Grips gets the thumbs up from me, these things are beautifully crafted.

Ordering a pair is similar to waiting for an NFA stamp or the CMP to send your Garand, lots of patience is involved. Their site is currently quoting a 10-14 week timeline.

Right? I may go nuts and order some for my CZ52, P64 and Makarov also. These are oil finished Walnut but they also have Ash, Wattle, Padua, Zebra, Maple, Alder and Sapele, in a variety of finishes and styles. I am a bit of a C&R purist and like C&Rs with their original Commie Bakelite and plastic grips but I can always swap them around and keep the original stuff in case I ever had to sell them. But these grips dress up an old C&R in a pretty tasteful way and it's not permanent so not "Bubbaing" IMHO.

Same thing happened to my Romanian Tok. I lost the safety spring
![]() Do they install the same way as the originals? If you don't mind my asking, how much do the grips cost? Last edited by Nevada Hudson; 01-26-2023 at 10:54 AM.. |

Yes, they install the same way, with the little pivoting wedge plate. $73.00 plus S&H

Now if they could just come up with something to cover up the import mark, haha!!

Exactly. The few TTCs and TT-33s I see without a big obnoxious import mark and the lame *** add-on "safety" always sell at quite a premium unfortunately. Good shooter though and now it has some nice grips so I'm content.

i'm not so sure i would like those top front points they look like they would snap off
also dont like how there is no clearance for the takedown clip to release same with the lanyard loop is there enough room for the clip |

I've always thought those were ugly guns. But not with that wood! Very nice!

Yes, have to remove the right hand grip to release the take down clip. That's ok, I don't disassemble the gun every time I shoot it, I just usually do a box of 50 rounds in a session, bore snake it and wipe it down and it's good to go. Once it gets REALLY dirty, if it ever does, then I unscrew one side grip panel, big deal. Lanyard loop, I don't use the lanyard so who cares? I did retain the safety and the original grips in case I ever sell it.
