Default No Once Fired Range Brass for You..!

Just got off the phone with Bud's Gunshop.

Back in November, I had purchased their Assorted Once-Fired Police Department Outdoor Range Brass. Good mix of 9mm,223, some .45, and little .38 & .357.

Ordered some more but my order was put on hold later. On their website they claim:

"Ammo and ammo components to California must be sent to an FFL dealer."

Talked to a gentlemen and explained that loaded ammunition needed to go through an FFL for California. Furthermore, I had ordered and received my previous order without issue.

After he talks with his supervisor and tells me that "it has to go through an FFL and my previous order was a mistake and should have been flagged."

Politely, I cancelled my order and said it was unfortunate that Bud's believes that's the law for California.

Bummer!

F these BS "common sense" gun laws. With my full refund I will kick some to the kitty to CRPA.

The real question is why are you patronizing a known offender?

Buds gunshop is known for pulling crap like this.

Our fellow member Sankor sells once fired police range brass as well, and I have bought some .223 from him. It is good quality and I would recommend him.

I would not know how that would that would feel like, I walked into an iron and metal scrap yard in Yonkers, New York and purchased 24,000+ cases that came from a government range.

While digging I found 3 55 Gal. gallon barrels full of water. I had to ask what else was in the barrels with the water? They said 'chucks' , all kind and all sizes.
They dumped the chucks with the water and then made me an offer, 10" chucks for $5.00 each.

I have a large batch of once fired military 9 and 5.56. They still have the primer and crimp - but if you still need brass, send me a message and I'll send you 1K of each for the price of shipping.

That has nothing to do with gun laws at all. Thats buds sucking and infringing on your rights on their own accord for no reason.

Shops can't pretend to support gun rights while voluntarily blocking legal sales. Buds gunshop's policy is more oppressive than CA law, and that says a lot.

Well, I didn't know as kcstott commented that "Buds gunshop is known for pulling crap like this." Watching Hickok45 on Youtube mention them as sponsors and seeing that they offered California compliant firearms, I figured they were probably good to go.

Yeah, I was wrong. Now I know about Buds.

"That has nothing to do with gun laws at all. Thats buds sucking and infringing on your rights on their own accord for no reason."

My thought is if we didn't have such confusing laws (but that IS the point, cause confusion!), Gun shops would not have to figure out what is legal to sell to California gun owners every time our jack holes make another convoluted gun control law.

The vast majority of used brass I bought off people in the Marketplace here. Especially for the common calibers, there's plenty of people selling spent cases here at reasonable prices.
