Default I may need to save up for this....

PSA is making an STG44 in multiple caliber choices, compatible with STANAG mags. Stamped sheetmetal and all. Looks like PSA acquired HMG who was making them before and they are gonna keep making them.

There are going to be a few who hate on repros in general, but I sure would like to shoot one.

I am wondering how bad (or good) the trigger will be. My CETME L trigger was horrendous.

PS if a mod could embed the video for me I don't know how to do that.

No projected cost yet but will be higher than what HMG was selling them for.

Cheers

A bit of an expensive toy but cool. I don't have a problem with repros, the real thing on these is kind of super rare and rather costly. Wouldn't be the most practical gun but you'd definitely get a lot of admirers at the range.

Here's a real one on GB for a mere $44k. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/964734735

Looks great, glad to see the HMG actually got some legs, and genuinely interested; but they need to get rid of that huge, tacky looking 'Battlefield' and wings logo plastered on the side. Completely ruins the classic/curio look.

Fine with retro, fine with modern cartridges and love the retro-designed STANAG mags - but geez that silly cartoonish logo needs to go ( or shrink it to 1/5th the size, no bigger than a quarter. )
