At about $1,200 to $1,400 I'd consider one. Who knows, maybe they'll have a sale at some point.
The way gun laws are going, I see this as a great way to stay ahead of the coming semi-auto bans. I also think it was smart to make a 9mm lever action. Everyone makes a .357 lever, so why make what everyone else already has? 9mm is also the cheapest centerfire round you can buy. Far cheaper than .357.

Even with the detachable box mag, I think this thing would be cool in wood and case hardened. But at 2k, that's higher than I want to go for a plinker. We'll see what happens.

I wonder if a rotary magazine would have been better. Like from the pp-19 bizon. Doesnt have to be as big but maybe hold 15 rounds as stock with gun purchase and optional +25 round extended mag available.

Wouldn't do it at that price. I would at $1K or less... and then get on the mill to make a switchable trigger trip to install on the lever just to give leftys heartburn.

It'll go great as a combo deal to the Forgotten Weapons with the Zenk as sidearm.
https://youtu.be/rko8Bw6_mH8 Zenk made in Sun Valley, CA. Probably going to be off roster. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |

semi-auto and pump shotguns with 20 inch or shorter barrels; "police grade shotguns". bolt-action rifles in anything that's not a wood stock; "tactical sniper rifle". Low-capacity handgun or revolver; "concealable murder weapon". Honestly wouldn't surprise me if they decide to go after lever guns by using the often used phrasing of "well folks are arguing they're the 19th century assault rifle, so folks shouldn't have it if it's considered the next best thing to an AR-15!". It's already clear that gun control advocates likely won't be satisfied until your only options as a civilian are a wood stocked bolt-action hunting rifle capped at 3 rounds or a double-barreled shotgun with a 24+ inch barrel. If you don't believe that's where its going look at the Aussies, where their legislature lost their senses again when their last gun control target was a lever-action shotgun that could hold more than five shells in the tube. https://www.theguardian.com/australi...ction-firearms |

POF, a company that mainly makes semiauto rifles, is coming out with a lever rifle.
Henry, a company that mainly makes lever rifles, is coming out with a semiauto rifle. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/sh...matic-carbine/ ![]() Oh baby, baby, it's a wild world. |

Henry Carbine isn't appealing as POF levers though. As the design looks awfully similar to ruger pc.
I suspect Zenk Revolver pistol, Henry Carbine and POF levers will be Forgotten Weapons. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |

What Ruger-Marlin should come out with is a interchangeable differing caliber barrel and tube lever action., that would be a game-changer.
I suggested a company to come out with a removable tube/mag fed lever action, and a quiver of tubes with a lever as to quiver of arrows and bow a couple years ago as well... (maybe someone at POF saw this "post" years ago lol) "Y'all heard these ideas First here and from me" lol. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk Last edited by CheapBloke; 01-17-2023 at 10:08 AM.. |

I've always been a lever action fan, had my Marlin 336 in 30-30 and didn't enjoy shooting it, felt the recoil was too much for a fun gun, bought a Marlin 1894 in 44 magnum thinking it would solve the problem, better but still not a fun gun, landed up selling the 30-30, but hesitated getting rid of the 1894, i saw a pic on the web of a nice tactical with a suppressor on it and thought it looked cool, but seen as we not allowed cans here I decided to do somewhat of a clone but I landed up going down the rabbit hole and went way further than I expected, glad I did though, it's now my favorite fun gun , whenever I go to the range no matter what I take bolt or gas guns, my marlin always comes along .
I did a lot of mods to it though, even full floated the barrel, yes the mag tube doesn't touch the barrel anywhere , but did require some mods which I'm glad I did, its way more accurate than it was, a little heaver too which really helps quick plinking and follow up shots and even my 14 year old daughter loves shooting it with lighter loads, I keep them down to 2 loads for her to plink, 600 fps and 900 fps, and she loves it, so much so that she claims its her rifle now and doesn't want her 22LR. It's my go to , it's not for everyone, some prefer the traditional look, which I do to, but to me i love my tactical lever and i have a blast with it. |
