You're going to contaminate your powder and primers using stuff like that.
A tube of Lee lube is about 8 bucks. Mix it in a spray bottle with iso alcohol and you can get a ton of spray lube for cheap. And it's powder/primer safe. |

Lanolin and alcohol mix. Cheap, works great, goes a long way.

I doubt Pledge works out to be cheaper than Frankford or Dillon spray lube. That stuff lasts a long time.

Butter flavored Crisco and Burt's Bee's hand salve work almost as well as Imperial Wax. Mobil One oil is another favorite for many.

I found that out several years ago. I had to buy the Red HEET because I cannot get 99% ISO in my area. |

Yep lanolin and ISO works great. Mixed a year ago and put it in a spray bottle. I think this one bottle will last me another 3 years. All I do is put the cases in a bucket couple of sprays mix them around spray again mix around again then come back in a little while and start reloading. Have not had a problem.

I also use heat and lanolin at 1:15. Works great and can use a large spray bottle. Takes forever to go through half a bottle. Learned the trick when Toilet paper hoarders bought up all the isopropyl for hand sanitizer.

It was over four years ago, but I think it was in the hair/skin care aisle. Still not getting the "Stool Softener" joke.

What I found interesting when I lived in CA - I couldn't get 99% alcohol at the drug stores, but tech supply houses like Fry's (may they rest in peace) had it in their circuit board/component section for cleaning PCB's.

The Red Heet was about $3.50 for a 12 oz. bottle and was available down the street at an auto parts store. Eeezey Peezey. |

Another fan of the Lee resizing lube here.
A 2oz tube for $5 lasts for ages. I squirt a dollop into a recycled pump spray bottle, cut it with alcohol and water, and shake before use. Throw the brass into a freezer bag with a couple of pumps, seal the bag and roll the brass around. Usually dump the contents onto a sheet of parchment to dry before sizing. The Lee lube isn’t a mess to handle once dried on the casings and it cleans off easily. |

I ended up buying straight lanolin and 90% plus alcohol and mixing my own since reloading sprays are same ingredient. Appreciate the replies.
