Default C&R in & near Phoenix AZ?

Hey everyone

I'm in Phoenix Arizona for the next several days and was wondering if anyone can recommend a local gun shop that has a good C&R selection?

Thanks in advance,

Experimentalist

Bear Arms in Scottsdale. C&R friendly.

Legenday Guns in Phoenix, AJI in Apache Junction. Both good shops with decent prices.

C & R have to go to ffl in your home state if you do not have 03 ffl. Antiques cash and carry.

Thanks everyone for the good suggestions. I may have a day free to explore the shops, and figured the people here would have authoritative insights on the subject.

I have my C&R license (and even remembered to bring a couple of un-signed copies) so I'll be good to bring whatever I may find home with me. Provided I buy a lockable container with locks that are not TSA-compliant.

Thanks again everyone. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!!

Bit of a drive if you can get away.

J&G Sales

Well worth the drive.

Let us know if you find anything cool out there. I've bought many C&Rs in Arizona, some good finds at pawn shops near Kingman. etc. There are some good gun shops in Prescott Valley that have a lot of C&Rs, plus J&G is fun.

For the Phoenix area I would second Bear Arms and Legendary Guns; both tend to have a decent used selection that includes plenty of C&R items.

If your willing to make the trip to the Prescott/Prescott Valley area I'd recommend J&G Sales and Bucky O'Neill guns in Prescott, and then Prescott Valley Guns and Desert Eagle Guns in Prescott Valley if your looking for C&R items; I've bought a good chunk of my milsurp firearms from all the above shops when I lived in AZ.

Thought to make an update on how it all went.

Turns out the time was fairly busy with other family things and I was only able to make it to Bear Arms. Thanks for the tip, this place is definitely interesting. A well stocked and diverse inventory, they also have a significant section of military weapons that are just for display (accompanied by a "Not for sale" sign to ward off the well-heeled drooling upon the counter) that I found impressive. An M-60 and what might have been a German MG-42, among several others. A little something to remind that you're no longer in California - if the display case full of suppressors wasn't enough.

The shop itself is decently large with a diverse range of firearms on display. There were a number of C&R items, but nothing that really captured my attention.

Hopefully some day I'll make the pilgrimage to J&G sales, I hear lots of good things about them.

Thanks again for the tips, hopefully I can explore further in future trips.
