Default Heritage Education Freedom Report Card

Thought some might find this interesting or helpful. I found the ROI for education spending category interesting. We always hear about how much a state spends per pupil. This includes how many teachers vs nonteachers a state gets for that spending and the percent of the state's GDP along with the combined 4th & 8th grader's scores.

Interesting read, as well as some other Topics on their website. The Edu item conflicts with what the teachers have been saying the last couple years here in ID. It appears we are not in a "dire" situation here, although I would still say anyone who can afford to use private/home school should just to avoid any possible stupid indoctrination that creeps in.

Also, I have heard there is supposedly another school tax coming up in March of next year for the ballot.

I posted the article to the Nevada Shooters forum, where a multi-page discussion around Nevada being lowest in the nation on $/student didn't include this article. Heritage Foundation is one of my favorite places to read.

CA's Transparency Ranking of #14 boosted their overall score. Meaning parents can see what is being taught/curriculum.

Otherwise they were in the 30's.
31 for school choice
36 for both Regulatory Freedom and Spending Rank

Subset of the spending rank is that 4th and 8th graders tied for 43rd in math and reading.
