Picked up this gem recently. Made in 1927 and what caught my eye was the Masonic square and compass on the right side. It has a butt plate stating it was awarded as a prize in a 1930 competition. Original pearl grips.

Excellent gun. While I think the factory grip medallions were of the “deep dish” type in that era, a factory letter might prove themto be original. This one is worthy of a $100 factory letter and the three or four months it takes to get it.
