Default Sights for use with Trijicon RMR

What is the collective wisdom of Calguns regarding the best suppressor height sight to use with a Glock 19, Brownell's RMR cut slide and a Trijicon adjustable LED RMR? My preference would be something that had nighttime capabilities. Anyone have issues with the sturdiness of a high front sight and Glock's "screw-instead-of-a-dovetail" approach to mounting the front sight?

Can’t go wrong with Dawson or Trijicon. It’s all personal preference when it comes to night sights or blacked out rear, fiber optic, etc.

Cost effective and reliable ones with good co-witness
  • With Tritium - Ameriglo GL-813
  • All Black - Ameriglo GL-429

PS: BTW, just to add, Ameriglo is owned by Trijicon the last I heard

I did not know that Ameriglo was owned by Trijicon. In any event I went with Trijicon and everything looks perfect thus far.

If it's too dark to see your sights, it's too dark to see your target. I would not go putting three dot night sights on an RMR set up. Don't rule out a solid WML or a decent handheld if you want true night time capability.

Brownell's G17 slide, Holosun 407C, and Ameriglo GL-411 sights.

I accept my imperfections. I joy in learning. I may make mistakes, but when I do I improve as a consequence. Still learning the best approach to pistol red dots.

Yup!

Both of my home defense pistols and my carry outside California have RDS, and they have backup irons that all black. The HD have WML, as well. My HD setup also has me reach out to a Surefire handheld.
