Default FFL for transfer around Fair Oaks

Sadly my go to, FAE, is currently in limbo with Gary’s passing.

Any recommendations for fairly priced transfer places in the area? I have a radian lower I need to transfer.

I've used & recommend Loyal Arms in Folsom or Placer Tactical in Lincoln. I've not used, but hear good things about Calaboose II, I think it's in your general area.

I used Loyal arms once and was treated very badly. I would never use them again and I have never had trouble with any other dealer in the area of Folsom. And they were not nice to a dealer I use in Nevada so be careful.

They are right down the street from me. Last time I tried twice to contact them about a transfer and didn't hear back, but they also had a line around the building so I just figured they where to busy.

Just FYI, Loyal Arms only does PPTs to their paid member's club.

Shooter's Pro in Roseville was excellent when i last sold one. Took about 25 minutes to complete everything when I went in.

NOPE!

The old fart that works there is a complete A-Hole! The Family of my best friend (who died unexpectedly) unfortunately used this place to transfer his collection. What a rude, ignorant FFL nightmare the guy was. Stay away from that place - you'll thank me.

Is that still owned by Kern? I used by use him when he was up in Auburn under Arlington Arms and then he moved his business down to his Mustang shop. Too bad, haven't been there in years.

Nor Cal Gun Vault, in Rocklin, have always been very pleasant and professional with my purchases; both PPT’s and new purchases.

Wow!

I believe you, but I am honestly perplexed.

The team at Loyal Arms as been absolutely wonderful and accommodating to me. They are super helpful, great service, nice and inexpensive.

I have never used Loyal Arms for PPT, having only used them as the middleman when ordering from other FFLs.

I honestly don't know how many transactions I have done with them in the past couple of years - at least 18 firearms that I can count off the top of my head.

When I started I used to mostly deal with one of the owners: Ricky Gan, and have always been more than satisfied but for the past year I have mostly dealt with Emilio (emilio@loyalarms.com) who is super helpful.

I have a copy of their FFL and their California CFD number which I email to whomever I am purchasing from, which has worked seamlessly.

I wholeheartedly recommend Loyal Arms.

Their location is a little different. They have a suite inside a business park. No exterior signage. You walk in and tell the receptionist for the business park you are there to see Loyal Arms and she calls to see if they are there before sending you down (or escorting you if you have not been there previously) to their suite.

I have shopped at Sacramento Black Rifle for many years and generally have been a fan. My PPT exchanges there were handled professionally as have most of my straight firearms purchases from them.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with their staff and service the past couple of years which has definitely decreased my enthusiasm for SBR. I suspect it is not a coincidence that my satisfaction with the staff at SBR started going down when their long time manager left.

Loyal Arms as been absolutely wonderful and accommodating to me... I concur with that. The phone options it's a bit weird so listen to it carefully but they are super nice ( the FFL transfer) it's super fast and cheaper than everywhere else.

Hopes that help.

Loyal Arms lost my business when they canceled my order of in stock 7.62x39 the day after the Russian ammo ban. It was available the next day for significantly more money.

Hard pass.

So far Loyal Arms has been good. Fast to respond and quick for getting my dros started. Now I wait. Thanks everyone.

Yeah, just after I "found" him and made a few deals he was wheels up and gone. Sadly.
