Default States That Accept Non-Resident Arizona?

Got my non-resident Arizona CCW last year so I could carry in Nevada. At the time that's all I cared about being I camp there and visit family there a lot, but since then have planned on some trips and got curious.

Is there a fast way to figure out what states accept and don't accept the non-resident CCW? Is it as simply as, if it's in the yellow they only accept the CCW if you are a resident? Right now my current issues are New Mexico and Colorado, but that made me think of the other states that don't accept CA, but are "yellow" on the USCCA map for Arizona.

Is yellow as simple as they only accept the resident CCW from that state? Was trying to figure it all out and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for quickly. Figure this may be the better place to come for those who travel.

MI, CO, and FL only honor AZ resident permits, albeit MI accepts a CA CCW. CO allows for CC in the vehicle and open carry without a permit.

NM accepts non-resident AZ.

Thank you, appreciate it. Being you seem to know a lot, it is true that we cannot conceal carry in Illinois, but we can have it concealed in the vehicle while traveling through?

Correct, but with your home state permit IIRC (non-resident permits would not count).

Yes, I have a CA one as well so I should be okay. If only PA did the same I would be completely golden. Guess there are always a few states!

PA does offer non-resident (like FL) and some agencies, you can do the process online so should you end up in PA, you can pick it up once there.

Good to know, of course the one place in PA I'm going to won't process it, so I'd have to go out of the way, but being I'm there a fair amount I should do it, especially with them being good for 5 years.

Giffords is making it sound like CO is similar to IL, where you can carry concealed in your car while traveling, but I can't tell if that's for residents or anyone passing through. Happen to know by chance?

CO treats your vehicle as an extension of your home. It’s for anyone, resident or not. Unlike IL, no home state permit needed.

Well glad I asked that. Looks like the 70 or the 40 I'll be okay then. Thank you very much for the info. Very helpful. Also that's pretty nice about the vehicle, whether you have a CCW or not. Thanks again!
