Default US Senator Partial/Unexpired Term Candidates...

Dr. Myron L Hall (R) - drhallforsenate Does NOT support Mandates, Pro-Life, 100% Pro Second Amendment.

Jon Elist (R) - elistforsenate - Inflation rising, Alex Padilla (incumbent) supporting government spending which makes inflation worse. Crime - Against George Gascon & Chesa Boudin who don't prosecute crimes. Supports their recall. Hire more police, provide better compensation. Elist has most campaign cash on hand of any of Padilla's challengers.

James P. Bradely (R) - bradeysenate - Supports the Right to Bear Arms "Citizens have a moral and constitutional right to protect their families and propert (sic)" Bradley ranks second to Padilla with 14% of the vote. Padilla sits at 50%.

Mark P. Meuser (R) - markmeuser - Wow, his campaign site looks like it was organized by a millennial in high school! Wheee... Social Media... Look @ me... All of Meuser's social media posts are scattered around instead of having a link where they focus on his key issues. Really horrible layout, shame. On the plus side, He protected First Amendment rights, involved in lawsuits against Gavin Newsom over Covid-19 powers and trying to remove President Trump's name from the Primary ballot.

Well, at least there are two candidates that support our Seconded Amendment Right to Bear Arms.

And those 2-4 candidates will splinter the Republican vote so we continue with the democrats. UNTIL the republicans in CA learn to run ONLY 1 candidate for an office they will continue losing.

It doesn't matter if the votes are splintered. This is a primary; only the top two go to the general election. So unless there is another D challenger, then at least one R will be on the November ballot.

So appointed position, which under a new law, requires voters to pick the replacement. Lets sit on it until the midterms and the replacement could theoretically serve the 2 months from Nov to Jan.

Bradley's got a typo under his "Right to bear arms" section- seems vaguely supportive to me... none of these candidates really standout as someone I'd champion :sigh:

I was contemplating between Hall and Bradley, but chose Bradley since he's in 2nd place behind Padilla.

Too bad Bradley has no chance in the general...
