I have been renewing my CCW with Wes now for over 8 years. We are fortunate in this very unfortunate state to have a number of qualified shooting instructors in our area. Wes put simply is a cut above. His legend precedes him the way lightning precedes thunder. His accolades are self explanatory. I have learned more from re-qualifying than I have from entire shooting classes from other instructors. Here‘s the real rub: If your nervous or overly pent/keyed up before qualifying for your first time or re-qual then take comfort in Wes’s jovial demeanor. It’s actually what I enjoy most about the guy. No matter my mental state walking out to the range, Wes has this uncanny ability to ease everyone’s anxiety. It simply does not exist when your out there with him. As long as he will provide instruction, I will keep coming back.
