Would you like to help introduce people to shooting?

We are looking for volunteers to help with new shooter classes staring with March 26.

These classes are aimed at people who don't own a gun and have probably never touched one in their lives but who are simply curious or ready to become a gun owner. We also have classes for new gun owners.

We resumed our classes in June after the pandemic lockdown and every class quickly fills. We need more help.

Usually we hold these events on Saturday afternoon, noon to 4PM at the Los Altos Rod and Gun Club.

I am looking to take a course with the wife, I'm not sure if this or Defensive Accuracy in Dublin would be better? Just convinced her to take the FSC test and she passed so now comes the next step

We plan to add more advanced classes this year but the "Taste of Shooting" classes are really aimed at people who have never shot a gun before and just want to get an idea what it's like and if they want to buy a gun. Our first class includes rifle, shotgun, and pistol at an outdoor range (Los Altos Rod and Gun Club).

so I assume the classes go through proper shooting techniques and fundamentals? Really want the wife to get some good training because she's never shot a gun before and it would be a refresher for me personally as well.
