FREE .22lr
I haven't done this for a few years because, well, .22lr has been plentiful. However, now it is not. So, I'll give 500 rounds of .22lr to one person (really I'll give it to your parent) who is 14 or younger and receives their first .22lr for Christmas. Unfortunately, we will probably have to transfer it through a LAV somewhere around Ventura County or the SFV.
Let's have an essay writing contest to determine the winner. Post your essay of why you think you should win a brick of .22lr in this thread along with your age and location (only the city you are in or live closest to) and the type of .22lr you got or are getting for Christmas. The last day to post your essay will be Dec. 31st, 2020.

This got my attention. I have a brick of .22 I can give to someone who is 14 or under. Again, it would have to be to their parents as I would have to do the transfer at a local FFL unless they were exempt (like a FFL03 and COE or a LEO).
I am in Stockton so this would be for someone in this surrounding area, like Tracy, Manteca, Modesto, Lodi, Sacramento or even the nearby foothills. I am willing to drive up to 50 miles. I will be in Davis later next week for a day. I am a teacher on my break and I do not read essays on my break. I did enough reading of student projects and reports the last two weeks of the semester. This is on the honor system. Just have a parent PM to confirm you are getting your first .22 firearm for Christmas. I would love to see a picture of you with the firearm, but as a teacher I know that posting a picture of you with a gun on the Internet, or even in a PM to a stranger is a no go so do not do that. Just tell me your first name, your age, and what your first gun is. I will use a random numbers generator to determine the winner. I will take the last entry by midnight on 12/28. I will then arrange with your parents how to deliver the ammo to you. The only requirement is a parent takes you shooting and teaches you how to safely shoot.

This is cool. Me and my partner teach a monthly class for kids to learn to shoot. We provide 22lr rifles and ammo for them to shoot. We been very blessed to have donations from kind folks like you and discounts from fine folks at local ammo shops like LAX Ammo that allow us to buy at very low prices. It is a very special feeling to see a kid fall in love with shooting. Surprisingly, girls seem to gat more excited than the boys, but both are fun to teach. Glad to see you make this effort.

I got a 12 nephew I just purchased a Rossi rim fire rifle. Haven’t been able to find ammo to get him out there shooting for his first time.
