Default Old Shotgun with opening receiver

My uncle used to have a pair of old highwayman 357s and shotguns that appeared to match them. One of particular interest to me was one where when you operated the pump the receiver actually opened to eject the shell, then went back flush. Anybody have any ideas on what it might have been. Some shady family has since liquidated his collection with no cares.

Did it have a kind of square hole in the top of the receiver? https://images.app.goo.gl/xtK91ZQ8U9H9igfM9

Stevens 520 or related.

No, when it was in battery it actually covered everything so you didn't see the bolt and ejection port. Then when you moved the pump back it would open.

I'm not familiar with that. Sounds cool, good luck!

It kind of looks like the Marlin design, but I don't remember it having an external hammer.
