Thank you to the crew at the San Marcos outfit for handling a PPT. Excellent well laid out store and professional. More of a selection than up north. Thanks again for being open. We had a appointment in and out in 40mins.

Be prepared to have that firearm sent back to the seller if your dros doesn't get approved by day 30. They have a store policy that allows them to not release under undetermined status.
I just learned about this policy and will probably end up eating the dros fees. Going to take my business elsewhere after they fully refund me for the purchase. Last edited by 4P0X1; 04-22-2020 at 10:26 AM.. |

If the DOJ does not approve or deny you after 30 days, the status becomes undetermined and it's left to the gun store to release the firearm to you. Turners will not release under undetermined.

Their arbitrary refusal to release on "undetermined". Is in direct contradiction of the SPIRIT and BLACK LETTER OF THE LAW. PC-28220[f][4] makes it MANDATORY that after the maximum 30 days, and issuance of an "undetermined" DOJ status. That the FFL complete the transfer. Their illegal refusal to comply with PC-28220[f][4]. Is an arbitrary refusal to acknowledge the customers 2A right to legally purchase firearms. THEY DO NOT DESERVE THE PATRONAGE OF ANY LAW ABIDING GUN OWNERS. Last edited by pacrat; 04-22-2020 at 10:59 PM.. |

It is, but it’s not uncommon to get delayed if you have a common name. Why risk it if CA DOJ is taking 16-19 days to process a Dros that doesn’t get delayed

Correct, they are different. It’s supposed flip automatically from pending to approved, denied, or undetermined at the end of the ten days. The problem is that they’re not going to undetermined; instead they’re locked at pending and they CAN NOT legally release the firearm.

Not withstanding the DOJ's current illegal actions regarding DROS. PRIOR TO THIS CORONA MESS. Turdner's had illegal policy in place, that denied law abiding citizens their 2A RIGHT to legally acquire firearms from their stores. ![]() |

I doubt they’ll give you your DROS fees back. No company is going to give you a fee they paid, and in turn you paid, for doing the DROS. At most I can see them returning you the dealer fee but that still means they loose out. No company in their right mind would give you that back. PPT’s are a waste of man power and time for gun stores. By now they [DOJ] should’ve made it an online only process and put the APPS program to good use instead of what they do now.

Lol, started up a commotion. Day 18 pistol was set free. Turners called on Day 11 with an update, then again on day 17 to come on down.
The crew was professional and the store looked great. Well stocked |
