The Soviets did win the war.
As Stalin said, quantity has a quality in it of itself. Sent from my LG-AS993 using Tapatalk

THAT is ver, VERY COOL!
![]() I have wanted to build one of Hitler’s feared “BUZZSAWS” and an M1919 for sometime. But I’ve always kept from, as I’m not a collector...and being disabled & not driving anymore, I don’t even shoot very often. It would really be only for my LOVE of building. |

Very nice looking build. I’ve got an M53 kit that I just got from Bowman that I’m planning to start working on next year. I’ve been doing research on Weapons Guild to get as much info as possible. Did you use an 80% receiver or rewear your original? Was this a true MG42 or an M53 you cloned into an MG42?

I rewelded a receiver to get this. You do not want to mess with the 80% on these it is a HUGE pain. This is part M53 part MG42 and part MG3 kits that I assembled into the MG42 clone. I did this build in 5 days start to finish so it is not terrible if you have a decent shop.
