Royal Ranger Fundraiser Raffle.. 10/22

I am a commander for Royal Rangers Outpost 405, we are holding a raffle to raise money for our upcoming camp. We are raffling off a Ruger 10/22 M1 replica, 2nd place is $100 cash, 3rd place $50 Bass Pro Shop Gift card.

I can not speak for the poster so he may correct me as he wishes. The Royal Rangers is a Christian based scout type organization most frequently associated with the Assembly of God churches. Good group of kids and leaders from my experiences with them.

Here is a quick quip on the organization, our outpost is out of Pomona and have a lot of boys from the area. We try to get them out to do things that they will never experience living in the city.. Fishing, Hiking, Camping are a few of the activities we try to do on a regular basis. I am getting ready to take a few of the older boys through firearm safety and take them to the range. This fundraiser is to help with taking them to the annual Pow Wow (divisional camping trip)

Royal Rangers is an adventure-based, merit-driven, faith-based, church ministry and mentoring program for boys in grades K-12, providing “Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment". The Royal Rangers program is active throughout the United States as well as in over 90 other nations; consequently, in 2002, 'Royal Rangers International (RRI) was started and "exists to establish, strengthen, and serve the growing number of nations seeking to impact the next generation through the Royal Rangers ministry." Royal Rangers in the USA is a boys-only program, The uniforms, mottos, practices and operation are derived from the Boy Scouts.

Royal Rangers' Mission is to "evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders."

I was in a Christian based group as a teenager, but it was more of a youth group for our church.
