Bonetti Road Clean Up PLINK

PLINK will be doing a clean up of the Bonetti road and surrounding area in the Eldorado National Forest

Hello everyone. My name is Manuel Cornejo and I wanted to let everyone know that PLINK has a forest clean-up scheduled for Saturday May 19th. We will meet at 9 am at the Pollock Pines Safeway parking lot. I will be using this email address for PLINK related communications. Please feel free to share this address with anybody who would like to receive PLINK notices and I will add them to the list. If anyone would like to opt out of receiving PLINK emails, let me know and I will remove you. I am relatively new to Plink. I participated in the 2015-16 cleanups with Steve and I was immediately impressed with the positive impact the group was making. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and continuing the good work that Plink does.

I will be there with my son, truck and trailer to haul out trash.

A week and not a single reply?

any given day on the weekend there are 100 people that use those areas.

be nice to have some people come out and help clean the area up

I just read this as I do not hit this part of the forums much. I can not commit as of now. I do shoot up there about 4-5 times per year and remove more trash each week. We had a clean up last year. I would like to be part of another one. I will check back when I know if I will be able to make it.

I am unable to make it. Thank you to all that do make it out. It would suck to loose this shooting spot due to dirt bag shooters who do not clean up their mess. I always leave with more sh!7 than I arrived with.
If I can donate a few bucks for dump fees/trash bags let me know.

I will try to make the next group clean up there.

had about 12 people show up. worked from 9-1

filled three pick up beds, and three full trailers with trash.
hit as many of the areas as we could but only got to half those that need some work.

first time Manuel organized one for PLINK and did an awesome job.
great group of people and look forward to the next one.

I have a pickup and trailer and had intended to get on board with the effort this year.

I never shoot at bonetti but drive by the eyesore from time to time deer hunting.

Could i maybe get on an email list or perhaps a better way of getting the word out next year?
