Default Problem fixed by PA.

Update: The owner of PA, Marshall got in touch with me and has fixed everything. It looks like the timing of all of this was bad all around (close to the election). While it was unfortunate to have the problem, PA stepped up and fixed things, so I'll buy from them with confidence in the future.

I ordered a complete upper from PA and received an empty box via FedEx. I've left several messages and email and haven't heard back from anyone, and called this morning during business hours and got nothing but voicemail.

I'm kind of in panic mode. Anybody have some info on why they aren't taking calls? Should I be calling my bank at this point?

Looking through the forum they seem legit, but....

Primary Arms is legit. Probably will have to call next week and see what's going on.

Any rips\tears or signs of tampering on the box?
I'd take pictures.
PA is not a fly by night operation. You should hear back from them soon.

First Noveske I've ever ordered and the box had a seal on it that I didn't open, and was taped shut in the middle. I'll post pics. Pretty pissed at this point.

Just as an update for anyone who cares or might be considering ordering from this company, I was initially put into contact with someone named Dani last week who mentioned they were going to go through steps with FedEx to figure this out. When I inquired about what the steps were, and what the time frame was on getting this resolved I've been completely ignored in email and calls to the person.
FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING ORDERING FROM THEM, BEWARE. If it's something pricey, buy it someplace else. I now have to go through the headache of trying to get my money back for a very expensive upper through my bank.

Did you sign for empty box . If so should have opened at that moment in front of fedex. With noveske sticker on it any gum person would know it is firearm parts.

The box was in a bag with some loose merch inside. All I'm saying is be careful with this company. If it's a freak thing, or on FedEx's end then these types of threads shouldn't pop up a lot.

Ignoring a customer with a problem like this needs to be shunned though, and I think it's pretty horrible from a customer service point of view. $1500 isn't going to break me or anything, but it's a pretty big deal.

It's an easy resolve. If the merchant won't refund your money then call the credit card company. What happened to you happens all the time with other companies and all shipping carriers. There is a lot of temps hired for the holiday season and it entails more risks. I have dealt with PA and never had any problems as I'm sure many others.

A complete upper was lost by UPS. Fortress Tactical replaced it in a week and dealt with UPS. Great customer service

Firearms and related parts should *always* be sent in a non descript box. Period. End of story. There is no circumstance where any hint of firearms or parts should be given from the outside. If this was sent with Noveske logo out in the wind for anyone to see, I am astounded.

Look at how Apple ships ipads and the like - same deal. Honestly the words "primary arms' should not even be on the return label. Something like 'PA' would be smarter.

OP - was this left on your porch or did you sign for it? And how did you pay - credit card or?

this post sounds strange.
Are you saying that PA told you it is your problem?
They have worked way too hard to build up their reputation by screwing a calguns member for a single upper.

I gave them a ton of time and the benefit of the doubt. They responded to me initially via email, and gave me the extension to the person handling the situation. She updated me that they were going through "steps" with FedEx. That was last week. Last week I contacted them via email to ask what the time frame was, what those steps were, and let them know I couldn't wait on this forever. I was polite and simply wanted a feeling for how this is going to get resolved. That email was never responded to. I called them and left a voicemail on Monday morning to the extension they gave me, and have received no call back, email back, nothing.

I really don't feel I'm being difficult; it's $1500. They shouldn't ignore me for a week; it's infuriating and I think reflects really poorly. Am I calling them out? Yeah... this is bs, and it deserves attention. If they do this enough times they won't be in business for very much longer.

Initially they said they were working on it, but have completely ignored me in email and haven't returned my calls to the person supposedly handling things. I kind of taken it as them saying it's my problem, and am working with my bank. We'll see how it turns out, but it looks like they are just trying to ignore it.

Dimitri already posted my direct email contact but should have let me know about this. Please email your info so I can look up the inquiry and find out WTF this was not brought to my attention and get this resolved. We did add a lot of new people because of the election year run up but leaving you hanging in inexcusable. Sounds like someone will not make the cut. Please email me directly at marshall@primaryarms.com
