I went up there for the first time. The dirt road is really bad at times I almost wanted to turn around and go back home, but ketp going since i made it that far. Is the road ever graded and how often. Also how often does that place get cleaned up? Thanks guys. Im a new to Calguns and this is my first thread.

Is it BLM area? Those roads are always hashed.

I host a small community shooting event there every 3 months,
Last time we went, July 7th, It seemed most of the road had been graded since we were there 3 months before. (at which point it was horrendous)

It was still pretty bad, and the last portion that goes back down the hill before you turn left at the sign mentioning the rifle range was even worse than it had been before.

A regular told me they grade it every now and again. (I imagine every 4 - 6 months)

It is trashed up there, I always try to bring a bag of garbage back with me. (Not that it makes a dent)
Though I would be very interested in helping set up a clean up day
