CGSSA: Chapter San Jose Roll Call

Welcome All. We have been given a San Jose CALGUNS Shooting Sports Association chapter.

We are looking for a few members to step up and volunteer to act as chapter leads or coordinators to help bring the community together.
We are looking for volunteers from all over the San Jose Area to help set up Monthly Range Shoots and other events.
If you would like to help please post in this thread with what you would be willing to do and where you are located.

Hey! I'm Christina and I live in Campbell! I would like to be a part of this Chapter as well! I am good at planning events and what not. I'm looking for some places in the South Bay Area to hunt as well.

I would be willing to be involved. I'm not sure I have the time to commit to be a leader of the group, but I do have time to help out from time to time. I am also an NRA Training Counselor and would be able to provide some training for group members if they desired.

Welcome, what kind of shooting do you do?

I've lived in San Jose for the past 7 years, 5 in Willow Glen area. I shoot rifles and pistols, but I am getting sick of the ranges (Metcalf). I just picked up some steel targets and wanted to explore Panoche Hills BLM land to do some long range shooting. I've never been down there and was wondering if any of you were open for a day trip?

I target shoot rifle and pistol, mainly at Los Altos Rod &Gun on Skyline. I'm going to start the Monday Night Pistol League at Reed's. I'm up for a road trip

Previously in Campbell, but now in San Jose (Saratoga and Stevens Creek).
I do a lot of defensive shooting with pistol (rifle and shotgun 4x a year).

I would be interested in help coordinating (or possibly lead) but it just depends on family obligations.

Just got back into shooting and was thinking of joining Zouaves again, but their monthly club matches doesn't match w/ my schedule. Please let me know if any events or functions are starting/ongoing. I'd like to be part of it.
