I had an old Western Field single shooter .22 that was a bit too big for my kids. So I decided to build them a stock that would fit them. I started with a simple design and traced it onto a piece of wood. I glued the cut wood together. I drilled out the trigger opening and mounting hole. I bedded the Western Field receiver and barrel with JB weld. I included an adjustable butt plate, cheek rest, and an elevation adjuster. The build took me three days to complete. My kids love it and it fits them perfectly.

So, having two boys it was only fair to build another youth stock. The design was similar to the first. This one had vents and a widened front stock. The action is a single shooter Glenfield .22.
