youth shooting programs around Orange County
Looking for both of my kids. Any help appreciated.

My son just joined the LAR&R Junior Shooters program. It is at Whittier Narrows Park in South El Monte. It was the only one I could find for him anywhere near us. We live in Central OC. They provide all of the equipment. They shoot 22 rifles. You only pay for the ammo, which you can get from them at pre panic pricing. The program is the first 2 Saturdays every month from 12:30 to 4:00. The program is open for 10-20 year olds. You will have to join the club but it is only $75.00 per year and it is a family membership. Only other requirement is that your kids will have to take an NRA course on the first Saturday that they join which cost $25.00 and both them and you will have to join the NRA.

The program is not "around Orange County", however West End Gun Club runs a very well regarded juniors program that receives a lot of support from both its board of directors and its general membership.
Parents do not have to be members of the club for their children to participate. http://www.wegc.org/wordpress/?page_id=759
