I did the print card myself. I picked up a ink pad from Office Depot for 5-7$. I made a copy of the cert and mailed it with it.

Nope. You just get a letter dated with the approval date with the permit.

Good in NONE of the other states - nor are any other states good in CA. AZ non resident gets you a lot of places.

Just got my paperwork back and it was declined because I took the Hunter-ED course. I was under the impression this was valid as the in class portion is not being offered in California currently.

Because according to their N2, section it should be valid, did you sign the back of the emailed card?

I didn’t sign the card, but they circled the hunter-ed.com on the card and said it was not a eligible document. I've been meaning to call them this week but was too busy with work. I'm a little miffed given the current situation right now, I already spent all the money on that and the finger print cards. At this point I'm going to try and find someone who is willing to do a remote session.

I took my CA hunter ed class in person with my kids for the heck of it and the bonding (passed a rigorous hunter safety myself in AZ back in `77), so I had an NRA certified instructor, which qualifies.

But I thought that someone in this thread had said that AZ accepted his CA Firearms Safety Card, which I'm sure that you must have?

Guess it isn't important enough to you to do the research/work.

If you go to the AZ site it will list what they accept. I suggest doing that and getting the info directly from the source.

No, they don't accept the firearm safety card.
I tried.

If you need to take a course, there's an outfit that teaches periodic classes in Cali, specifically for the AZ carry permit.
