I have a bunch of manuals saved. Do you want to put that on the site?

Default Sw m&p15 Sport

Hey all,

I recently bought a Smith and Wesson M&P15 Sport mainly due to the price. I would like to start building it out some. Im not going to get too carried away a build. I would like to add a quad rail to throw on a red dot sight. In any event I bought a quad rail and it appears that I have to change out the barrel also. Can any one confirm this either way? If so i wouldn't mind hearing some recommendations as far as brand or things to consider at least when barrel shopping.

I have heard about ar15 Building parties or get together..? Do these exist? If so can someone direct me in that direction as I am new and have much to learn.

Thanks!

A whooping three posts and you're calling me a virgin??

I'm not here to give rats arse about what you think my image in society is.
If you would have read the title and the first post before posting and asking about something that is felony stupid maybe we would not be having this conversation.
Now to answer your question

1. You don't need a quad rail to mount a red dot on your weapon. It came with a rail on the upper.
2. You do not need to change the barrel. You do need to remove the front sight gas block combo if your rail is too long. That requires some tools, some knowledge, and a low profile gas block..
3. Build parties are OVER, But you are not looking for a build party but assembly help, You would have to hook up with an individual to get help.
I recommend AR15barrels.com in the greater LA area He helps for a fee. but he's reasonable in price and well respected.

Now scroll down to the non stickied section and post a new thread with your question.
Have a nice day

Default Are all of these prints legal?

Hey man, thanks for sharing this wealth of information. I do have a concern. Two of these documents that I've viewed already have stamps or texts indicating that the information is for private eyes.

I'd hate to view or download one of these documents and get in trouble for something silly as looking at prints.

EDIT:

Are these documents legal for viewing and downloading?

If those prints are K.L. Stottlemyer & Co. you have my permission. If they are the d 1970's ordinance prints I don't think the Army cares. Anything else is up to you.

You didn't bother to read the very first post did you? Everything that I posted is freely available on the web I just consolidated the stuff I felt we needed in one spot. I've yet to be contacted by any copyright holder and I have had zero request to take things down.

So do as you please, I don't care. Just build legal stuff.

Default RifleConnection.com has a ton of prints and CAD Models

Just got the complete build set of CAD models of the AR-10 including the BCG, and other unique parts that are not interchangeable on the AR-15, also has some glock files.
