The COE is yearly and if you let it expire, you have to apply for a new one with a new live scan. But if you are moving, what is the probability of you moving back in a year or two or three? And if you move back, you would have to get a new CA DL and then start the COE process once received. Would you know within a reasonable time if you were to move back?

My job looks to be going away. Rather than spending time looking for a new position here, we are going to take our chances elsewhere. So the odds of returning are slim... I'll probably change careers before doing that.

Renewing will allow you to buy ammo here if you are visiting as well.

Having grown up in the Bay Area, it is a bittersweet time for us, but I am looking forward to reinstalling my Ergo grips. We wish the best to those left behind. |
