Current .mil/LEO are exempt, and they do recognize other schools so you can always contact them to see about a waiver.
I was somewhat annoyed by having to take a class I thought was beneath me, because I just wanted to take their sniper/precision rifle series. I learned so much in Handgun 1 I proceeded to take HG 1, 2, 3 (twice), and Advanced Handgun, and now a few carbine courses as well! One of these days I'll get to long distance.
