Default Hearing Protection Act

What's the deal, is this dead or just on the back burner?? According to the Fed's website its still in committee. Is that true? I know there are bigger fish to fry, but I'd love to see a truly pro gun bill pass at the Fed level.

It died after the Vegas shooting for no reason other than a gun was used. The national reciprocity act seems to have died as soon as it reached the Senate.

Except it's not dead though. The federal website says it's with the committee on terrorism.

Which means they have no plans to vote on it and it will be dead when the next Congress is in place in January.
