Default Dem threatens gun owners with nuke

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiep...ments-n2536106

Rep. Eric Swalwell

@RepSwalwell
And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit. I’m sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities.

Should work pretty good! Just nuke every gun owner who does not comply!
What about the radiation? What about the environment and climate change.

News flash to this diabolical dem. Your party does not have the senate or Presidency !
Our Republicans own those and are firmly in support of the constitutionally guaranteed right of self protection!

Nukes not used in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, among others - won't be used anywhere in America - ever. It would be impossible to manage, control, and the reason a rebellion against tyranny would be successful.

Beware of any politician that even talks like this, not just because of the stupidity and immaturity, but because of the overbearing elitist wish for power over the People.

LOL! Now Swalwell's complaining that we can't seem to have a "conversation" about guns.

Eric: you threatened us with nukes if we didn't give them up. What's to talk about?

There are maybe 850,000 cops. Only a small percentage of them are "bad *** door kickers," which is who I was referring too. They're not gonna send Patrolman Suzie the school resources officer for Oak Grove High School to grab guns. And so on and so on and so on.

Well maybe Gavin Newsom would send her. He does appear to be that stupid.

You missed a zero buddy; its 850,000 cops not 85,000 and they won't take them all at once. Some would willingly give, others will sell out, and the few that remain will be ostracized before being nuked.

Just for fun, we should start a signature drive for a proposition that would require that any legislator that votes for gun confiscation must physically return to their home district to personally lead the confiscation team.

This is a dupe. This article came out in May, and there was a lengthy thread about it then.

Good, and we should see this re-posted here every six months as a reminder.

I wonder how much data this Swalwell character has from the FBI Comey types.

We know the FBI does not have access to nukes but its very likely they have assault teams to deal with resisters ( gun owners) and Swalwell no doubt is in the inner circle that included Comey, stzoke, page, etc, etc, etc .

Not to mention a FISA court would approve anything the FBI wants.

Just saying this democrat has possibly given us a stern warning !

It would seem such a comment about nuking could be of value to an opponent running to unseat this piece of work.

We had Flakes just with Kavanaugh.... If gun action passes the House there is a very good chance it will pass the Senate and POTUS will probably sign it under public pressure.. Good chance we'll lose another Republican Senator in Florida as well..

Not ALL Republicans are strongly pro gun and the vote in 1993 showed us that...
Before the 90's, gun laws were not really a red vs. blue issue. 9 democrats voted against the ban as well. As hard as it is to admit, former President Reagan supported the ban! Former President Ford also supported the ban. Since the ban, gun laws have become much more red vs blue. I do not see 10 Republican Senators or 9 Democratic Senators breaking from their party today.

That said, I strongly agree that not every Republican is pro gun just as not every Democrat is anti-gun. In a local election, I once voted for the Democrat because he was more pro gun than the Republican...

The above is true, the big difference is that every Democrat will tow the party line unless their seat is up for grabs in a Red state (Manchin) and even then they would fall on their sword for the party if they were to put the GOP over the top (eg. Kavanaugh). The Republicans, on the other hand, are wishy washy pieces of **** (eg. Flake, Murkowski, and almost Collins).

How did voting for the more pro 2a candidate work out? Well, he was elected. I no longer live in that district and he is still one of the few democrats who does not vote for most gun control. The "Republican" he was running against indicated he was going to vote for gun control so I do not regret voting for that ONE democrat...

I consider Swalwell to be a babbling idiot. I've heard the drivel coming out of his mouth and his gun confiscation proposals. Sad that is district keeps electing him.

What is sad is my district is only about 30 miles east of his and we just elected a Bay Area gun grabber...Can't wait to leave this state!
