As long as you don't burn it and make dried out and burnt crispy I think you have good taste.

Francis Bacon, the inventor of bacon and also he did some minor stuff like being the1st Viscount St on Alban, also known as lord Verulam, was an English philosopher and statesman who served as Attorney General and as Lord Chancellor of England...bla bla bla...

Decreed that
"All bacon should be cooked until it is flexible but not floppy, and if you cook it to the point where it is stiff like a burnt stick you shall be smited, Amen!!!"

The Chinese also claimed they invented bacon and they had a similar saying ...

"The bacon cooks slowly,
but the Earth is patient
and doesn't burn that sheeet".

This morning, I put a slice and a half of costco bacon into my cast iron pan along with some diced potatos, onion and peppers and some leftover steak.
It made a great breakfast burrito.

^ That sounds really delicious.
I probably would have skipped the potatoes and switched in some extra bacon but having steak with bacon my thing.

Coincidentally, just a few days ago I started "what would a sandwich named after you be made of" thread and mine was steak and bacon.

But more importantly it seems like those people who like stiff burnt bacon that crunches when you chew it have all gone extinct.

We had a bunch of them here just a few years ago but they probably thought taking unproven medical experiments was as good of an idea as burnt bacon.

May they rest with pizza

...and see the error of their burnt bacon ways.

Default Bacon

Dude, the Costco import bacon is AMAZING! Best thing ever!

I go in and buy 7-8 of the double packs every time. Can’t have enough of this stuff stocked up.

I like making a "bacon weave" in the microwave and using it to build an awesome BLT sandwich.. So many ways to enjoy bacon!

Next time you cook a turkey, try weaving a bacon pattern on the outside for the final bake time. About 30 minutes. Yum
