Default Selling registered AW

Hi,
I built an AR and registered it here in good ole California. I have someone who wants to buy it in Virginia. What do I need to do here in Cali? Anything? Do they have to register it in Virginia? I don’t want to under my name .

Dirve it out of the state, ship it to an FFL in Virginia. Try and deregister it with the DOJ and fill out a No Longer In Possesion form. Your only other option involves finding someone with an CA Assault Weapons permit to do the transfer.

Fill out the forms to get it delisted then wait ... .and wait.... or just take it apart and sell the parts except the lower.

Lowers are CHEAP and RAWs are made of pure unobtanium... Don't do it.

If you buy a stripped lower for $100, I'll help you transfer the parts to a different receiver.... Then you can keep that unobtanium paperweight in the bottom of your safe until times are better....
