Shooting Areas - LA/OC/ High desert
Good morning everyone,
Just wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can take the kiddos out shooting this weekend. I know that most outdoor and indoor ranges are closed and have started researching about finding BLM areas, but I have no clue as to if I can just drive onto these areas, if there are designated areas within the public lands, and if anyone can provide any info on named locations I can look up. Anything will help. I am not trying to avidly go out during this time and I am doing my best to be safe, but I think this would be a perfect activity to do with the kids. Thanks in advance. |

http://publiclands.org/Get-Books-and...p?plicstate=CA BLM will be busy...most of the gun ranges in IE are open for business but you will probably run into long wait times unless you get there first in line before they open. |

Burro Canyon and Oak Tree were open last week if you wanted to shoot outside but shorten your drive. Call first.

Bring a shovel. Clear out impact area. Bullets spark on steel and rock.
