Here's another way to use these if you have a metal cabinet type safe.
4 strong magnets attached to heavy duty metal cable clamps.

See attached.

Bought mine at the oc gun show this past weekend! Thanks for the show pricing and great product! My guns are so much more organized now instead of inside each factory box! Will buy more in the future, perhaps at the next show again!

Just a quick note and free bump for Ryan at Armory Racks.

I was looking for some new storage options in my safe and came across this thread. I did some research on other types of handgun storage options and decided to give Armory Racks a try. I ordered the 8 gun rack, with optional storage tray and neoprene covers. I took advantage of their special pricing for Calgunners and placed my order. The rack was sent via USPS Priority mail with tracking the same day I placed the order.

One of the first things I noticed was how well the box was packed. To some this is a minor detail, but nothing ticks me off more then plunking down good money on something, then having the product thrown in a box with no care. Both the rack and tray were wrapped in plastic, there was reinforcing with separate pieces of cardboard within the box, then followed up with bubble wrap and "air pockets". Even the outer box itself felt heavy duty.

As for the rack itself, I was very happy with both it and the storage tray. I went with Armory Racks because I like the fact that the guns could be stored with no contact points affecting the outside finish. I also liked the 8 gun option (instead of the standard 6 with other racks) and the grab handles. The rack fit perfectly in the space I had allotted for it in my safe. After loading it up with 8 guns, it felt very sturdy. The grab handles are a great feature and allowed me to easily move it around, even fully loaded. I definitely plan on taking it with me to my next range trip.

I think the optional storage tray is a great buy. I used it for all of my spare mags and it fit neatly underneath my handguns with room to spare. It totally cleaned up what was becoming a disorganized mess in my safe. As for the extra neoprene covers, I think it boils down to what you feel comfortable with. I got them because I felt the extra padding couldn't hurt and for the added piece of mind. However, I think the standard covered arms would be fine.

All in all, I was very impressed with their service and the product. So much so, that I ordered another 8 gun rack (without the neoprene covers this time) to clean up the other side of my safe!

Smile Armory Racks review - super product

I ordered an 8 gun Armory Rack and it was quickly recieved, including the neoprene coating and red tips that I requested when I ordered. I am super pleased with the build quality and the functionality. Fits all my guns great and really is a space saver. I bought one as a test, now I am going to get a few more to do a major cleanup of my safe like some of the pictures shown.

This rack is a game changer if you have a safe that never has the room or organization that you would like. I know it is going to make my access to and care of my guns much easier than ever. I can finally get rid of the clutter of gun boxes and pistol cases and see everything!

Thanks Armory Racks for a great product! Sending another order in when I complete this post.

New Customer review: I have been looking for something to assist in the storage of pistols in the safe. I have been using Bore Stores. The only problem is identifying which pistol is in which Bore Store. I thought about using some sort of velcro that can be written on but that still wouldn't work for me as I would still have to remove some to get to the ones in the back. The Armory Racks looked pretty good so I ordered a couple and I think they will be perfect for what I want to do. - Steve M.

New Customer Review: I have a 2-gun rack on my work bench, one with sleeve and cap, the other one without. It's great to have a place to put your gun when you're done working on it, it keeps it away from the dirt and nastiness on the bench.

Just put in my order for the 1-Gun "quick access" 3 pack. I'm excited!

A question though, if I get them and decide that the WR-01-CG work better, can I send them back in exchange? How would that work?

The racks arrived today. That is some prompt service. I'll hopefully have a chance to get them installed tomorrow, but these look perfect. Will probably be making another order soon.

I ordered a double and quad a few weeks ago, and I'm really pleased with how these racks are working out.

They were shipped immediately, and I got them 48 hours after I placed my order.

Before my order I had some minor concerns about the utility of these racks. First, would the double be unstable with a single big handgun on it? Second, would there be enough room so that two large handguns could sit side-by-side (without touching)? I was pleased to find that the answers were "no" and "yes".

In a nutshell they're solid, well-made, and performing just as I'd hoped.

Thanks! Really like my Armory Rack! Only wish is for a small tray for the two model, like the larger ones. Makes it convenient to store the magazines with. I use a leather valet tray, but it is just a bit too short. It would be nice to see a leather tray that fits right. Hang cleared pistol on rack, dump pocket contents, keys and mag, etc on the tray for the night! Could emboss logo on the leather.

Got my two 8 gun racks a week ago. Finally made time and organized the safe. These are a great solution. Frees up shelf space for more handguns. Thanks for the free shipping. I will be ordering more in the future.

I'm guessing that Desert Eagle .44mag and a 6" Colt Anaconda is too big for these racks? Can you confirm? Thanks!

My Colt Anaconda is wider than the Desert Eagle. I also have a 5" N frame Smith but it is thinner than both the .44mags.

I do not have pics of the racks with those specific guns, but you will not have an issue with the racks. The racks (all models) are balanced to account for large guns. Here is a pic of a 8" Ruger Redhawk.
