Orange, has ANYONE received a denial?

with some people getting an initial approval with-in a week and some creeping on 3 weeks with no word it has got me thinking either
1. they are approving almost anyone that dosent fit in the prohibited persons category

2. they are saving the denials as close to their 90 day limit as they can.

just a thought from someone that still dosent trust hutchens

You're over thinking it.

It just depends on how fast your initial interviewer gets the file to the res check person, where the res check person is working at any one time, etc. The res checks usually come in clumps, which just means they're checking given areas at one time, rather than doing Seal Beach, than driving to Dana Point, then to Huntington, etc.

They have no reason to hold denials until the 89th day. Why should they? If you're prohibited, you're prohibited. It's not like they're afraid of you or the repercussions of what will happen if they deny someone.

I was in the very first group on the 29th of March. I just had my res check a few days ago on the 17th.

OCSD has already approved at least one CalGunner using SD as a GC, FWIW. He started the process a few weeks before the decision, but was told to just go ahead and use SD.

I just asked this question a few days ago in here haha. The Too Long, didn't read version is: So far quite a few people have received the initial approval to get the permit, but so far no one here has posted being denied yet. Although some people have not really heard much in the 4 or so weeks that it was since their appointment.

OCSD does a preliminary check to make sure they arent wasting anyones time from their forward. If you are truthful on your app after the first check you will be approved. I had my investigator ask me about an incident that happened with me last year and I told them what happened, he said ok I just wanted your side of the story blah blah blah then said my app looked good and he would then submit it to his Lieutenant. I havent had anything happen in any other states besides CA so I am good to go. Now just need my damn res check.
