Why would you want to do that when there’s a carbine?

Phil,

https://www.centuryarms.com/wasrm.html

How about that instead of the NAK9? First time I've ever seen this gun; apparently just released. I know I just bought a gun from you, but just wanted to pass along possible interest for others.

Is this a Century Arms build or an import?

I'm just waitign for the wasrm and bren carbines to move faster in the supply chain. the brens are only going to direct dealers that ordered a long time ago. wasr-ms are just slow.

For the foreseeable future. Would be nice if the 308 version was coming sooner, but it doesn't seem to be anytime soon.

I would be interested in a Bren, especially with Scar prices skyrocketing recently. Wonder how the Bren stock is to pin.

Had a SCAR17. Nice gun but it's overhyped. I'd be interested in a 7.62x39 Bren 2. Not showing on CZUSA for 2020, but they already have the pistol version.

@fmunk .... Better to wait for it to be available here. Best CA conversion IMO.

Yeah, I know. My post was not meant to step on Phil's toes. Only to say that they appear to have made it stateside, finally. As far as CA-compliance, it's really just a matter of kydex grip wrap and pinning the stock to defeat the adjustable features, plus 10 round mag and removal of flash hider.

A 3D printed backstrap may be an option as well.

I don't think that would be cost effective for the dealer doing the conversion, but to each his own.

Can we get a list of the best candidates for group buy right now, or are all prices still outrageous?

Let’s get a buy going. I don’t know about you guys but I need something new. The market has been wild so my only recent pick up is an off roster Shield.

I second this. But it has been mentioned before, suppply and demand. People are paying whatever amount they ask for whatever it's out there. Problem is, who knows if this will ever end.

Agreed, that’s why I’d like to shop around and see what’s available if possible. If it’s all +10% MSRP then I’ll pass, but if we can manage to find a deal in this mess, I’m all for it.
