Default My new best friend

After years of using a Luger mag loading tool to fill up my .22 pistol mags, I tried an HKS loading tool.
This one worked perfect on my Buckmark mags.
It let me easily push the follower all the way down and then it clips onto the bottom of the mag while you effortlessly drop fresh rounds in.
My fingers are so happy!
I really recommend that you try one.

Think it'll work with Ruger or Beretta mags too? PAX

What's the line about old dogs and new tricks?
I made my own ruger mag loader for loading the old style standard mags where a button sticks out of the side of the mag.
A few years later, I saw the HKS loader and bought one.
It works good, but I still like my loader better because I made it myself.

They make other models but I did use this on a Ruger Mk1,2 Mag and a Colt 22 as well.
Pretty much anything that will fit through the slot will work.

Browning 1911-22 does not fit but they have a big comfortable loading knob so it's not a big deal on this one.

New fangled plastic stuff.
Who needs it?
We've been hurting our fingers loading mags for years now and we like it that way.

5 bucks is a lot better than the $29 Baby Lula I have. Does it work on all 22 mags like the Baby Lula?

For the buck mark I used this

Takes a while to get use to but when it works it's magic...

I have one made as a gift years ago from an old machinist friend. It's a piece of brass round stock with a hole drilled through to catch the button on the follower, knurled and beveled. One of my favorite accessories.

What would work on a GSG 1911 CA mag? Those are a b*tch to load.

I made mine from a piece of 1/8 inch thick plastic. Works great, cheap, and only took 15 minutes to make. I also made several for friends and folks at the range.

I use the HKS .22LR loader as well and it works great for my Buck Mark.
The only annoyance is that the rounds sometimes get stood up while loading since they just fall into the magazine.

NO, it is too SMALL for GSG 1911 22LR magazine.
For GSG 1911 22 magazine I used "NickTaylor GSG 1911 22 Magazine Loader" or Homedepot faucet washer. (Or Joe47's method post #11)

One compartment in my range bag is just mag loading tools. Easier on your fingers, but also the time saved is more trigger time.

Get the mcfadden loader quoted earlier. It is the greatest invention of all time.
