Default safe @ cowpalace

anyone paid attention to what/who sell safes at the cowpalace gun show?

Looking for a 14 - 16 gun safe with combo lock. Non-fire safe.

anyone would opt for the electronic lock?

what's their prices?

thanks

They're pretty cool guys. There used to be one safe company, The Safe Company, and the two guys spit up, the other guy formed Visalia Safes.

They'll make custom ordered sizes, dual doors, ect. Great people and a really nice safe for good prices. Sure, they're not fancy metallic powder coated, and might not be highly polished, but they're great utilitarian safes that get the job done.

I got the elctronic lock with some misgivings, mainly because (a) I know too many people who think of mechanical locks as a fun challenge, and (2) the mechanical lock doesn't lock when you shoot the door bolts in place, you have to spin the dial, and I am a bit too absent minded to want that.

The misgivings come because pretty much by definition it won't last the hundreds of years that a good mechanical lock would. However, in true human fashion, I will leave that problem for another day and hope I remember to change the batteries once a year..

But this has nothing to do with gunshows ...
