Acceptable ID to sell PPT ?

What kind of ID is acceptable to sell a firearm PPT ?

I know I need a "real ID" or passport to buy,

but is a CA DL that is not a "Real ID " acceptable ?

Depends on the FFL. While any CA ID/DL is fine, as the FFL in advance.

We ask sellers to bring in all docs required to buy even for the seller. Our only reason for this is to avoid issues if the gun needs to be delivered back to you in the event of a denial. No FSC is required for return to owner.
