Listen guys, I left it up to them to decide what to do. I was fully willing to pay for a reconstruction if they deemed it was not coverable by warranty or to scrap it if it was not repairable. My buddy would then be on the hook for replacement which he had already stepped up to do.

If they wanted to know more about the ammo used they could have asked me and I would have told them exactly what I thought happened. I was not being dishonest, I explained the event exactly as it happened.

I was also following the advice of my LGS who had dealt with Glock several times with similar issues. He told me to send it in and see what they say, on previous occasions, Glock fully repaired the gun with no questions asked.

Not crooked at all. The double charge was an assumption made by my reloader friend, no way to know after the fact.

I left it up to Glock to decide. I would have accepted their judgement if it couldn't be repaired or that it was out of warranty considerations.

You did it right, you didn't misrepresent anything nor make any claims that aren't true. Ignore the trolls...

There's a very high chance that it's probably a bad reload.

That gun fired out of battery, look at video from3:02 to around 3:39 , the slide is back, so the case had to explode out of the barrel, to me the load had nothing to do with it.
