Default Machine gun shoot in SW Idaho Sat the 2nd

The Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors Association is having their annual pumpkin shoot out the the Parma range on Saturday Nov. 2nd. Spectators are free and you donít have to be a member of parma to go check it out. Some of these guys in this group own some real historical gems. For any of my SW Idaho brothers, here ya go. Shooting starts at noon. Iíll be there to check it out.

Sorry buddy. I posted as soon as i saw the flyer. It was awesome. Easily over a million dollars worth of F/A weapons out there today. Tannerite also. Good fun. Most interesting to me was the German mg-13 twin anti aircraft MG. Holy hell did that thing have a high cyclic rate.

Bummer. My wife and I were practicing that morning just a few bays down, but we finished before the shooting started.

Sorry you missed it. It was a great turn out and lots of fun. Iíll post future ones as they happen. They do a winter tracer shoot too. Has to be wet and or snowy though or they cancel it for fire hazard reasons.

Please post the events. I would have loved to attend but didn't have enough time to adjust the work schedule.
Thanks

They used to be fairly easy to buy if you knew where to go. They're just a pain to deal with because when you fire one, there's NFA paperwork to deal with. You also have to have an EOD expert with you in case there's a dud, which happens often with those grenades. A big shoot is the best chance to shoot those because the event can hire the EOD guy.

Ah, for the good old days. I remember at SOF a guy had a mortar and fired a couple HE rounds. Those were loud.
