Gunsmith recommendation
I am looking for someone that is adept in glass and/or pillar bedding a rifle stock. I’m to scared to do it myself and there isn’t much for gunsmiths in my area. I’m in the Central Valley/Bakersfield area but I’ll travel a few hours for a competent gunsmith.
I appreciate y’alls help, any help you have. |

In Bakersfield look for Tommy Leroy Johnson if he hasn't retired yet?

Don't know of he's retired yet but his license is still current. I have had several people come down to me from Kern county and lament that Leroy was not willing/wanting/able to do their work. He might just be super busy and they didn't want to wait though...

Last I heard Leroy is only doing very little work for a few people. Basically, he’s retired.
