Many complaints on the Serpa holster. If your using for the range or for fun. Then it's a perfectly suited holster. Check out Serpa stuck videos, it appears this does happen. That being said, I own a one for all my firearms and have no issues. But for carry, I wouldn't trust them.

Yeah, these thigh holsters tend to print too much for concealed carry. LOL. Just kidding. I know what you meant

Proper training should prevent negligent discharge.

Good alternate carry when hunting wearing a hip supported back pack.

Why take the risk with a known poor design?

Question

Quote:
Fits Glock 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 31, 32
Must be a misprint. Glock 20 and 21 is not the same size as the 17, 19, 22, 31, or 32.

Buy something reputable: Safariland, Gcode, AnR Designs, Trex, Shooks, Gerber Designs, Priority 1. All of these are compatible with either the Gcode or Safariland UBL systems and thigh strap. Much better to spend the extra $50-100 vs shooting yourself in the leg...literally. If you still buy Blackhawk in 2019, you may be a fudd.

I assume these are just as bad as Blackhawks? Same design?

Can the retention button be removed/disabled?

Would be nice to have a cheap range holster..

Have you guys seen anyone actually try to run around with one of those thigh holsters on? Funny as hell with the holster flopping around. Even with it tightened appropriately, they are not the best if you need to be moving around quickly.

Those look to be of a different, sturdier design than pretty much all of the drop leg thigh holsters that I have seen folks running. Just curious, how comfortable is that Safariland rig when sitting?

The problem is most of the five systems have a strap that drops off of the belt and a flimsy strap that goes around the leg. The safariland system does one moldy piece of plastic that attaches to is 30 belt strap that puts down where tension and is compatible with holsters from all different kinds of manufacturers
