Default Quick review of Glock 19 holster from Last Line of Defense (LLOD)

Just wanted to give a quick unsolicited review of the AIWB holster I just received from Mike at Last Line of Defense (LLOD).

As I am very new to appendix carry, I was worried about the general complaints of this type of carry as being uncomfortable.

The one experience I had previously from another holster maker for my XD-s (single stack sub-compact) just reinforced my believe to the general perception that AIWB was not very comfortable. The problem I was having was mostly from sitting down or bending down, the slide of the gun will jam into my midsection; which causes me to try and adjust it when I am seated.

Due to a range of motion issue I have with my support hand (which makes it difficult for me to clear garment if wearing holster at 3, 4 or 5 oclock) I decided I needed to keep trying AIWB holsters...

So I did a fair bit of research, and saw the holsters from LLOD with very positive reviews on comfort. He also has a youtube channel and appears to be a very down to earth kind of guy. So I decided to give his holsters a try.

Placed my order for a holster for the Glock 19 and after the lead time of 4 weeks, received it in the mail last week.

Having worn the holster over this past weekend, the one thing that immediately came to mind was how incredibly comfortable it was. Even in a sitting position or bending down position, the ability for it to move slightly (due to one belt design) makes it a lot easier to quickly shift it into a comfortable position. After sitting in the car for about two hours (was traveling out of town), I did not get any redness or hot spots in my stomach or groin.

I am very happy that I decided to try out Mike's holster, and will be placing an order for one to replace my XD-s holster as well.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick review. Hope that it will help those in search of an AIWB holster something to consider!
