Default EDC holsters for Glock G27?

I know I need more than one...depending on whether I am carrying it as a back-up or primary weapon. For you folks carrying the G27 (especially you LEOs) what do you find most comfortable and practical? There are SO MANY choices! Originally I thought ankle holster for days when I am wearing a suit (w/o jacket) and/or sitting a lot or riding a motorcycle. But reviews suggest the G27 is too heavy for this to be comfortable. I use different holsters for different attire to maximize comfort and have no problem purchasing "application specific" holsters...what do you like and recommend? I will be carrying with and without the extended punky mag.

Where do you plan on carrying it in your person?

I carry the G26 but it’s mostly for IWB (OWB for winter)

For primary carry, OWB, I use a DSG Arms belt holster. Holds close to the body, good cut for a solid grip and a great retention.
IWB, I carry my G27 in a Crossbreed Supertuck, just behind my strong side hip.
I have a small single clip kydex holster for Appendix carry... but I find the Glock to be a bit chunky to carry that way.
It may carry better in a larger holster with 2 clips, but I have not experimented with carry that way.

As to how to carry as a duty back-up weapon....no idea, never had the opportunity to even explore the idea as an option.

Kinda why I'm asking, I'm undecided about ankle carry but am definitely gonna use IWB at 3...the Mossaro Purebreed has caught my eye just because you adjust it on the fly. Kind of a nice feature for the difference between dress pants, jeans, shorts, etc. Also seeking beltless holster for swim trunks, sweats, jogging pants, etc.

I do like the Sticky Grip Gun Holsters for quick trips when the sidearm is on the magnet in the car (in the soft holster) and is easily tucked into my waistband when I jump out but they are not ideal for long periods of carry. I have also used the Sticky Anklebiter holster successfully so I will try that with the new Glock.

I have and use various holsters, too. Some brands I don't exactly remember or have changed over the years with new models.
IWB, I mostly use:

Galco. https://www.galcogunleather.com/trit...html?filters=1

Blade-Tech. https://blade-tech.com/products/klip...=5870550548508

Pole-Craft (Amazon). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0?ie=UTF8&th=1

But I also have three owb-type holsters which I might use.
Here's one from Safariland. https://safariland.com/products/mode...h-paddle-57800

Note, I no longer have or carry a G27, but now carry a G26 (gen3 or gen5).

OP, get any holster you think you'll like and carry that G27. Every holster maker believes its holsters will be just perfect for anybody. All holsters may be similar or a bit different.

I've also had ankle holsters, body armor holsters, shoulder holsters and other OWB holsters over the years for a G27/G26. They all work; some better than others depending on the circumstances. Just don't over-think it and make a decision for yourself. If one you buy doesn't work out for you, buy another.

Ordered one of these, seems pretty ideal.

I pocket carry my Glock 33 in a kydex pocket holster and two mags in the other pocket. It seems to work out well. The 33 is the largest that I can pocket carry comfortably.

For beltless, I suggest you take a look at the Phlster Enigma.

What I do is carry with a galco leather owb holster. At like 4-5 o clock. I like those because they're the most comfortable I've found so far. But they do necessitate an over shirt. I use button down short sleeve shirts for that purpose.

I pocket carry a Glock 26 pretty consistently. You need pretty large pockets, but it's doable.

You can do iwb, but I don't find it as comfortable.

Milt Sparks VM-2 with upgraded Criterion magnet belt loops.

Seriously forget it there sometimes until I sit down and feel that thickness lol

The most comfortable holster I have is an Uncle Mike?s sidekick IWB.
I carry a Glock 26.
I cut one up and I?m using it as a pattern for one I?m having made out of 9-10oz leather.
