You know I started to think the same thing then I remembered I don't have anyone I can request that time from. There is no one I can submit a time off request to. Why you ask. Well the answer is actually pretty simple. I am RETIRED!! One day you will be in that enviable position too lone shooter (Please don't be angry I'm just having a little fun, not trying to make you feel bad). If you are able to make it please stop by my 2 shooting tables and say hi. I'll be the one that will possibly have up to 6 grandsons with me from ages 11-23 so I won't be too hard to find.

Heck other than the fact I plan to shoot at my range soon to see if I physically can I haven't shot a firearm in at least four years. I had my right shoulder replaced last Nov. but before that I couldn't raise that arm even close to my shoulder due to extreme pain. I had a fantastic surgeon who gave me my life back and with lots of therapy from an excellent physical therapist and hard work I can now lift it straight above my head. The real test is to see if I can hold a rifle in a position to fire (I'm a lefty) and if I can shoot my handguns, one of which is a Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag with a 7 1/2" barrel. I of course will dry fire everything first at my range to see how that works. If it does ok than I'll try it with ammo. If it turns out it's still too soon then I still plan to attend but I won't shoot. I will not jeopardize the safety of others, especially my grandchildren nor my own. But I will attend for the sake of my grandsons because I know they have enjoyed going to the ones in the past and want to attend this one. If all goes well it will be the first time for two of them as they will be new shooters.

This will be our first Zombie shoot in 4yrs. so does anyone know if the dirt road, especially that one, often times difficult area, can handle a 38' RV trailer. My son bought a bigger one a few months back and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want it in a ditch or stuck in soft sand..

mrlonewolf, anyone?? tia

Ok Zombie Shooters, we're going to do things differently this year.

This year we will not provide porta-potties for the event so please plan accordingly.

The Saturday potluck is no longer. Instead, we're going to offer a hamburger and hot dog lunch for a $5 donation to CRPA. Included in the lunch are chips and water.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY FOOD FOR A POTLUCK ON SATURDAY. IT WILL NOT BE COOKED.

If you guys have any questions, post them here and Lonewolf and I will answer.
