Default Looking at this mount any opinions appreciated

Looking to put a 56mm scope in there. I know it's a little tall but I like how solid the construction is. Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks fellas.

1. Why is it so expensive?

2. Is there enough room between the rings for your scope's turret housing?

Most mounts like that are around 200 bucks. I did not consider the turret fitment but I don't think it would be an issue.

It isn’t that expensive in a world of $2-4K scopes.

Just need to make sure ocular bell will clear with the mount height.

and take the flip caps or scope cover into consideration (if using them).

1) Integrated bubble level... Cheaper to buy separate.

2) I'm no expert, but I don't see why turret would be interfered.

I try not to go after looks. What is making me like this mount is how much mechanical grip it has on the rail. All that engagement has to make it more rigid

Exclamation

At THAT price, I'd go Larue. That way you get KNOWN quality that works for your bucks.

These look to be well made so I'm sure it's fine, but for a little less you can get a one piece mount from Badger Ordnance and Badger has a better known track record of durability and overall quality.
