Default Ring and Mount Suggestions for Vortex HD Razor Gen2 on Rem700 5r

Just as title of post says I'm in looking for suggestions on what rings and mount to use on my Remington 700 5r 6.5C. I have a Vortex HD Razor GenII coming in today and need all the parts to get in mounted on my riffle.

I'm completely new to the hobby but would like to shoot on the 1k field. I'd say my budget is about $250 and I'd like to keep it one piece if possible. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Seekins 20 MOA base $100 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...t-action-matte

Seekins 34mm rings $140 https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...le-rings-matte

That would be a very solid setup and would give you more than enough elevation travel to 1200+ yards

Awesome thanks for the suggestion. I picked up the base you stated but went with another model of Seekins rings. Look forward to putting it all together and taking it out on the range.

Plus one for Seekins - you picked the best rings.
