Visiting California with off roster pistols.
Recently moved to Nevada. Still have friends and family in California we will visit occasionally. Planning on buying some off roster pistols with threaded barrels and 17 round mags. Could I legally bring them with me when I visit California ? Also would probably be bringing a few hundred rounds of ammo.

No threaded barrels or large cap mags from out of state. Bring ammo since you cannot buy here.

Therefore... As long as the off-Roster handguns are CA legal, then it is legal to bring and possess them in CA. It is not legal to bring handguns that are considered prohibited weapons (assault weapons, SBR, SBS) to CA and it is not legal to bring large capacity (11+ round) magazines to CA. It is legal to bring non-prohibited ammo to CA for personal use.
